Lands Minister Judith Nabakooba has been involved in a road crash at Kibukuta swamp in Mpigi District while travelling to Rwampara District for an official function.
According to initial information, the minister was travelling with members of her team when the incident occurred near Jalia City within Mpigi District. She had been scheduled to preside over the handover of land titles in Rwampara.
Details regarding the cause of the crash and the condition of those involved were not immediately available by press time. Authorities are yet to issue an official statement.
