President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed Justice Moses Kazibwe Kawumi as the new Deputy Chief Justice. His name has been forwarded to Parliament for approval, in line with constitutional procedure.
In the same judicial reshuffle, Her Worship Agnes Alum has been named the new Chief Registrar, marking a key leadership change within the Judiciary’s administrative structure.
The appointments were announced by the Presidential Press Unit, which confirmed the developments under official communication from State House.
